Laurel Becker, LPC
As someone who struggled significantly during adolescence, I found real healing through therapy in my early 20s—an experience that continues to shape how I show up for my clients today. I'm passionate about helping others navigate life's challenges and discover their own resilience and freedom. I work with clients facing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, grief, and other difficulties, using my training in the Gottman Method to help couples rebuild strong foundations while equipping individuals with coping strategies for better daily living and relationships. While I am fundamentally a person-centered therapist, I regularly utilize techniques from. CBT, ACT, and other cognitive modalities.
KARL BECKER, LPC
I spent over 25 years working as an educator prior to my counseling work, and I bring that same curiosity, patience, and care into my counseling practice. I'm a husband of 34 years, a father of three grown kids, and a grandfather — and I know firsthand how our history, relationships, and the beliefs we carry can shape the way we see ourselves and the world. My own experience in counseling helped me find a path through some of that, and it's part of why I do this work today.
At my core, I'm a person-centered therapist who welcomes clients of every background, belief, and identity into a space free of judgment — including LGBTQ+ folks, who are always affirmed here. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and that an authentic, nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship — built on empathy and trust — is the foundation for meaningful change. Within that framework, I draw on many techniques from ACT, REBT, Somatic, IFS and other modalities.
